| From the heart of NJ, during the frigid winter of 2005, emerged this five piece metal band. Ever since the closure of local heroes Mudbox and Judge Drain, the remaining members were brought together by the means of a shared vision. It was throughout the bitter cold season that these five musicians sought out to structure and refine their sound. While digging deep into their metal roots, they began to embark on a musical journey that was from their heart and soul. And so, Ashes of Your Enemy was born. Ashes of Your Enemy is: Tony Hermosilla on lead guitar, Kevin Schormann on vocals, Matt Goida on drums, Joey Craparotta on bass, and Rob Shotwell on rhythm guitar. Fueled by a formula for writing heavy guitar riff driven metal songs with huge vocal hooks and a riveting high energy live performance, Ashes of Your Enemy have truly found their voice musically and lyrically within these songs. The Ashes of Your Enemy four song EP was crafted and recorded in late 2005 at Illegitimate Studios. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by Max Illidge (40 Below Summer, Black Market Hero), and their upcoming full length album release, The Undying, will be on sale October 9th. Ashes of Your Enemy have already attracted many listeners throughout and beyond the area, and is consistently building upon a loyal fan base. Their music is sure to turn some heads. |
