Yokota's fanbase is broad; his admirers include Thom Yorke, Philip Glass, Brian Eno, and Bjork. His music was recently featured in the Denzel Washington film Deja Vu. Also well known in Europe for his house music releases on Harthouse, Sublime, and Exceptional, Yokota is highly regarded in Japan as a visual artist.
